Not a huge playground, but definitely fun! 3 slides, 4 swings and some climbing. Picnic tables. Partially shaded by trees. Playground gets busy after school.

Balcones District Park is easy to find right on Amherst near Duval Road. There are picnic tables, volleyball courts, woods, lots of parking and basketball hoops. Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash.

Decent neighborhood park. Unfortunately a lot of smokers use this park and even smoke while at the park with children which sucks. There is a bathroom nearby at the pool which is a plus.
