Urban Nirvana Playground

I tend to avoid this playground with my 3 year old. The last time I brought her here, she fell on her head no less than 3 times. I am not a fan of the playground equipment. There are low seats that swing but aren't quite swings...they appeal to a 2 year old because of their height but a small child has nowhere to hold on to & falls over in an instant. They are very unsteady & unsafe. There are a few twirly riders that I think are fine but I'm not a massive fan of the twirly riders in general. The "structure" is a huge climbing piece that caters to older children only. A child under 4 is unable to climb on any of it really. I think there are 2 regular swings here but no infant swings. I found this park too frustrating to go to because I have to constantly be behind my child helping her with everything...and she still managed to fall on her head! I don't think the surfacing was great here either or there wasn't enough of it. It is easily accessible, however. It adjoins a large field that is wonderful for playing & picnicking. I just wish the playground were safer! The location isn't ideal as it is heavily trafficked by commuters from the shops and train station.
