St. Johns Park (at the Community Center)

Because it's not shaded, this playground is great on cool, sunny days. Although there are a few benches surrounding the playground, it's not easy to watch playing children from them, because one play structure may block you from seeing the action going on at a different structure. It's a good idea to stick close by your kiddo. The merry go round was taken out in the spring of 2010. The field around the playground is nice; there aren't many picnic tables. The water fountain has an option for dogs. Parents are usually friendly and kids well behaved. Close to coffee etc. in downtown St. Johns just a few blocks away. Three mornings a week you can take kids inside for the play gym at the community center, if the weather turns sour while you're on the playground.
