Pfc Thomas Norton Mem Playground

As a neighborhood mom that frequents this park I feel this park is a sorry excuse for a neighborhood playground. The baby and children swings are located across the park from each other making it hard for mothers to watch different aged children at the same time. The rock climbing wall is the only activity available for children over 5 besides for the swings and there are not enough foot holds on it making it quite dangerous and leading to 2 broken arms that I have known about. The sprinkler is not enclosed and is a single spray of water from a hole in the ground. When a child steps on the hole there is not water for any other child to play in. The playground equipment for the younger stages does not have banisters on the stairs and is too small to accommodate all the children who use the playground. And the worst part, they closed the playground for a few years saying they are going to redo the bathrooms- but they have never been opened!!
