Cunard Memorial Playground

My family & I like this playground a lot. It's not our favorite, but it's high on our list! My main issue with the playground is that the play areas are so separated. Perhaps this can be good so it doesn't get too packed there when it's busy, but it means I have to constantly be getting up & down to help me child go back & forth between the 2 areas. The play structure itself is a bit dated with it's metal footings & steps. I never feel that my daughter is that safe there when she's playing so I tend to have to hover a lot. It has plenty to offer though...the structure has a few slides , monkey bars, bridges, etc. There are 2 baby swings & 2 regular swings. The other area is full of innovative twirly, free standing riders & some climbing structures. There's also a really cute fire engine that the little ones love. This park is great because it suits children of all ages which is really important to me. There is also a huge sandy area where people are often playing volleyball...but the kids love to come & dig with their sandbox toys. It's a nice little area to go & find some shade & sit & relax. The park is beautifully maintained & the memorial area is very touching.
