Pierrepont Park and Playground

A great playground for younger kids. The area in enclosed so you can let your child run free. Even the swings have separate gates so you don't have to worry about your child getting taken out by a swing. There are a lot of walkers and old toys that have been left behind (on purpose) for smaller children to use. There is a sprinkler/fountain in the summer. No bathroom facilities.

This is a lovely, large playground in the heart of Brooklyn Heights. It's right by the promenade, which looks out across the east river to the Manhattan skyline. There is a separate baby area with swings. There is even often an ice cream truck parked outside.
