the problem with a playground at a Brevard County school is the public can not use it. After school and all summer the fence is locked and the kids have to climb a fence. Why do the schools lock out the kids and not let them play on the fields and equipment?

Our children deserve a new playground at PBE! The freedom of play is essential in child development.. not only physical development, but social and emotional development as well. Our playground is so outdated. A new play structure would foster activity of our children at recess & enable them to enjoy PLAYING!

I believe the children are our are future
Teach them well and let them get the new playground
Show them all the fun they can have
Give them a sense of pride to make it easier
Let the children's laughter (from the new playground)
remind us how we used to be
Everybody searching for some recess fun
People need this to let out the energy

The lines are so long for what little equipment we have...Please help us get a new playground for our students.

Our school is in desparate need of a new playground!!! Many of our students would rather just sit in the grass and talk rather than wait in lines and play on the old boring equipment. After 25 years of working at PBE, I can tell you it is high time we give our playground a makeover. Our children deserve to have a playground that is fun, stimulating and safe. CHOOSE US!!!!

We need a new playground where all of our children can play safely!

I have been a teacher at this school for 16 years and been very discouraged that our district builds beautiful playgrounds for NEW schools, but the older schools in the district have to BUY their own if they want one. Not only that, the district has so many rules for how to install it, we couldn't afford to put in our own playground even if we did raise the money for equipment. We have a lot of students whose parents work hard, but cannot afford to finance a playground. Please help our students get the break they deserve because with all of the high stakes testing these days, they need a place to just have FUN for a few minutes every day.

For children to learn well, they must also be able to play well. I support getting funds for a much-needed playground for Palm Beach Elementary where my beautiful neice Amy teaches.
