Jackson Elementary School

Hello fans of Jackson Elementary School, and congratulations! Your community is a part of the top 50 playspaces in the running for an Imagination Playground in a Box! To move on to the next step, the site owner/operator will need to fill out the application that was sent by September 2. The play area desperately needs to be renovated to provide a safe environment for our students to play and exercise. The area at this time is in extremely sad shape.

This playground is in desperate need of updating! It is built on a very steep hill that makes it difficult and dangerous for the kids to play. They are always falling down the hill and getting hurt. Many times the kids have to play on the small blacktop area with no equipment instead of enjoying what little equipment they do have.

Jackson is a great school, but the playground is in need of improvement. It needs to be upgraded to assure safety and give the kids some good play spaces.

The current playground equipment is really outdated. It would be nice to know that the kids had a safe place to play where they could actually enjoy recess time.

The need for this playspace is great. Due to budget cuts, playground equipment is a low priority. The children need a safe place to play and to get the exercise they need to be healthy and physically fit.

It would be great for our students to have new playground equipment -- Jackson is a great school with great kids and teachers; and having a nicer/safer place to play would certainly only help enhance their overall experience at school.
