Hello fans of MSU Child Development Center, and congratulations! Your community is a part of the top 50 playspaces in the running for an Imagination Playground in a Box! To move on to the next step, the site owner/operator will need to fill out the application that was sent by September 2. We left a message with Christine Lux (christine.lux@montana.edu) with this information. If they did not receive the message or are not the main contact for this space, please talk to our Grants Manager, Peyton Hutchins, at phutchins@kaboom.org or call her at 202-464-6415. It would be wonderful to be able to provide CDC with a playground to complement the exceptional learning environment provided by the staff. At the most energetic time of their lives, these kids need a safe and challenging playground.

CDC has some great ideas for the future updates, but no funds. Currently there's not much more than a wood chipped fenced in area and no shade in the hot sun. CDC needs some serious updates.

Children's learning doesn't just happen in the classroom - outdoor environments are just as important! Just like updating materials inside, our outdoor equipment also needs to be replaced or repaired. Help us reach our goal and support the efforts of our fabulous playground parent volunteers!

The equipment at the CDC is very outdated and in desperate need of being replaced. The children here all have active imaginations, so do well with the playspace available to them, but I have been concerned for some time about the safety of the equipment.

The playground at the CDC has been the same for many years. It is in need of a serious update. It would be so much more attractive with some new things added.
