Our new library playground is open. Thank you to the Dunedin Friends of the Library, The City of Dunedin, Casa Tina Restaurant, the Dunedin Youth Guild and The Rotary Club of Dunedin for your support in making this happen. The official ribbon cutting ceremony will be Saturday, August 20th at 10AM!

The playground looks fantastic! That fish is so funny. Thanks for the update!

We coordinated literally hundreds of people to vote, and know of other people that did the same. Our efforts were published in the St. Petersburg Times. We approached this final vote with the same resolve that got us into the top 10 in the first place, and could not get past 7th place. I personally watched several people vote on the same computer, and the percentage did not change at all, almost like the votes were just not registering. I don't know the science behind the vote count, and I'm not trying to be a sore loser, but it would sure be nice to get an explanation for why our votes were not registering, and how it would be possible for us to lose so badly with so many people voting.

We have a large group of Dunedin folks voting via Facebook, and no matter how many people vote (and we have lots), the percentages do not change. Either some rival playgrounds are having literally hundreds of people voting daily, or the website is malfunctioning.

I have been voting daily and this morning I see the percentage has decreased from yesterday. What's going on with this site?
