Welcome – Welcome Back Taco Bar and Potluck Remember that our welcome back night is this Thursday, July 29th at 6:00 at the school. Please bring your own place setting. If you choose to, you can rent a place setting from the school for $3 or a family for $10. As has become our custom, we would like to let you know ahead of time what the behavior expectations are for the kids at the event. We find that if we let you know what we expect, you can help your kids remember how to behave for the evening. The kids will have time to play on the grassy area before and after we eat, but not during. The rules for school games will apply to any games played this evening, such as fair play, no unnecessary roughness, if someone gets hurt the closest person to them helps them get the first aid that they need. During the mealtime portion of the evening, we ask that families stick together. We would like you to line up to eat as a family and find a place to eat as a group. We encourage you to sit with other families and get to know some of your children's friends. Please help your children get their food and dessert. We have a limit of 2 tacos and one dessert to start, then once everyone has eaten we will offer seconds. Once everyone has eaten we will have a short adult meeting to share some information, have our site council election, and talk about volunteering. Please be sure that at least one adult from your family is present at this meeting. There will be staff out on the grassy area watching the kids during this time.
