Crescent Park

This is a terrific playground year round, but it can't be beat on hot/sunny days as it is very shaded. No twirly things (sadly), but this playground plays well and almost always has other kids on it, so there are lots of options for singlets to play. Rubber bouncy mat footings makes it accessible for most. Nice benches for parents. Attractive walking path takes one on a circuit around the West end of the park. Drinking fountains are a nice perk, but no bathroom options. Most people walk or bike here, but there is plenty of parking on the nearby streets. Two tennis courts (green asphalt) are well maintained and rarely is more than one court in use at any time. There is also an excellent baseball diamond right next to the playground with a first rate backstop.
